Poorly stocked Spar and very pricey.

When new owner replaced previous owners, the Spar was brilliant, always well stocked and very friendly staff. Wayne was always willing to stock whatever the community requested him to obtain for the store. However, since March, this Spar has slowly been deteriorating to such a point that I avoid shopping there as know they won't have stock or stock there would probably have expired. They retrenched the baker during lockdown and have not bothered replacing with another one. They now resort to going to collect rolls from another store but only collect fresh rolls after 1pm each day. Thy try sell "stale rolls" at no reduced price. Also meat is usually frozen and poor quality. For months now, they have had very limited stock of gum and sweets by cashier tills. When I queried with Supervisor, she keeps telling me truck is arriving on Friday but seems this truck never arrives as still no stock of decent chewing gum like Dentyne, Mentos and Stimorol. This store can be a goldmine as convenient for locals but yet with no stock, they might as well shut their shop.
