Poor service

<p>I purchased a pack of 2 chickens from EuroSpar in Three Rivers, Vereeniging yesterday. Got home and it was off. I had to drive back to the Spar to replace it - the rest at the fridge were also off. I decided to rather take the cash instead. I queried as to why the promise of double your money back guarantee wasn't adhered to and was told that it only applies to Spar products. I find your advertising quiet misleading in that regard. As a consumer, whatever I pick up from your shelf is your product since you are selling it at a profit. I found it quiet unacceptable that the buck is passed on in that manner. I would expect that out of pure customer care, the store should have immediately given me twice what I paid or come to some agreement, considering my inconvenience and petrol to drive back to the store. The money is not the big deal - it's the lack of customer care which would cause customers not to return to that store or any other Spar.</p> <p>I would truly appreciate a response.</p>
