Poor , Poor management of an already unacceptable situation
After a shopping , while at the tillpoints, our Salad was dropped all over the counter by the cashier. This itself was not too much of an issue as it was agreed that we swopped this out with a fresh bowl. After we were done paying and on the way out, we noticed that the cashier headed back and placed the salad back on the shelf for another customers to buy. This was unacceptable as she had used her hands to pick up and place the spilled salad back into the bowl (besides the fact that the salad went all over the checkout counter). We thought we would take the time and bring this under the managers attention. -What a complete disappointment. The only response we received was very unfriendly and abrupt "ek sal op die kameras kyk". This young fellow should certainly work on his people s****s and be retrained to work with his customers. Until he has been retrained and found competent, he should be put on admin duty away from the public. As a people’s manager in customer service myself, this fellow should seriously reconsider his career path. I suggest both these employees revisit this incident and learn from it. How will my next issue be addressed when I really need a SPAR manager to act accordingly? I certainly will not be returning to this SPAR based on the utter lack of action, empathy, understanding and people s****s from this specific “manager”.
I look forward to your response.
