Poor management

I am completely appalled and disgusted by how my partner and I were treated at the Algoa Park Spar. They completely lack customer service and humanity.

My partner desperately needed the bathroom at the Spar and she asked the security guard for directions. The security directed her to an Engen garage a few kms away from the Spar. I went myself to the security knowing very well that there are staff toilets on the premisis and I had been escorted to the bathroom more than once. While the security was on his radio (assuming that he was calling someone else to stand in his post while escorting us) I insisted that my partner go to the bathroom. While we were in the bathroom we were ambushed by the security and the manager. They were very aggressive that we should not be in the back and to which I apologised and insisted that there should be toilets on the premises. The manager was very aggressive and couldn't even give us clear direction as to where we could direct such a complaint or even his name/details so that we could hold him accountable. He even went on to speak Afrikaans to the staff thinking that I will not be able to hear him telling them that I am lying. The same Spar that states that they are for the community treated us like ********* when we are regular customers that desperately needed the bathroom. It just does not make sense that one should leave the premises to just use the bathroom in fact it is an injustice that there are no toilets for customers on the premisis especially when facing an emergency .

I feel that the manager could've handled the situation in a calm manner and directed us to the right channels so that we can rightfully complain that a bathroom be provided for customers. Instead he was very aggressive to me and my partner and atrociously failed to manage the situation.
