POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I was at your branch right now at 19:20, tried to buy an energy drink and whilst on the way to the paypoint my wife called that I needed to bring money with at home. Then I proceeded to the till, was assusted and I requested cash back of R300.00 and the cashier flatly said she can't help me, I must buy for R50.00 and above. She called a supervisor Emma who also said that this is a store rule and called another manager called Andre who rudely said that I must buy for R50 or he can't help me. I asked why are all the Spar stores not using the same rule, he said the owner told them that, and that it is the store rule. I mean, I buy in the store every second day, and have previously requested cash back, it was given and was not told this nonsense. Yesterday I was at the Spar in Eastlyn(on way to derdepoort) , I bought chappies for R8. 95 and requested cash back of R40. 00 because I wanted to give money to the car guard and they allowed me. So what is different with this SPAR??? Another thing I would like to highlight is that there was a cashier who was 2tills away from the cashier that assisted me who said to the cashier why don't you help him??? I am disappointed in how these guys run the store... And deeply feel this is against consumer rights. The banks will not take this lightly if they hear that Spar is refusing to help clients get the money they requesting from the merchants. What if the client only has R50 in their account and they need transport money? So they will not be helped at this store??? I am staying 0.87Km from the store and am sure you do not want to lose a customer who buys almost everyday in your branch. I am looking forward to the positive response in this regard as I am expecting a call to be called back to withdraw any amount I want irrespective of what I have purchased.
