Pensioners Special Day

A few days before Lock Down I was impressed by the safety measures taken by this supermarket in Jozi. A charming lady was dispensing sanitizer, personally greeting each customer on entry to the store. Additionally all the cashiers were wearing sanitary gloves and treating the customers in a friendly manner in spite of the long queues. This well-equipped shop is always a pleasure to visit with its well appointed decor and displays, crisp fresh produce and tempting treats of every description. As a pensioner I often visit there on a Tuesday when tea or coffee is offered to each and every pensioner accompanied by either scones and jam or doughnuts and sometimes tasty sausage rolls. On top of that all pensioners receive a discount on that day of the week. Take a turn there you'll find it worth your while!
