Pensioners being taken for a ride
I shopped at Steve's Spar Blackheath yesterday (pensioners day) and bought 500gr of Bonnita butter which had a big sign on it, special R28.99. However, when getting home and looking at my slip, I saw I was charged R39.99! I received a pensioeners discount of R8.73 on my total purchases, but was then overcharged R11 on one item! Does Steve Spar think pensioners are stupid, senile or blind (or all of these)? I went back this morning and was refunded, but the fact remains, they take chances because they think \old\" people are stupid! I do not believe for one moment that this was a little oversight on Spar's side!"
