Outrageous Spar retail vehicle license renewal fees

I strongly advise against using Spar retail shops to renew your vehicle license discs. The administration fees they charge are outrageous. I was billed R2,200 by NaTIS for the renewal of three cars but Spar wanted to charge me R3,200 for the same service.

That’s an extra R1,000 just for admin fees and VAT! It’s simply not justifiable. Think twice before renewing your license through Spar you’ll end up paying far more than necessary.
