One of the worst shop chains in South Africa!!! >: (

You let each location have too much control over their own shops. Below are my biggest issues with the THREE SPARs near me today:

1.) The prices are not regulated or consistent from Spar to Spar. I should be able to get the same prices nation wide.

2.) Welathier areas have Spars with more expensive items which is not good for those who work in those areas and may need to stop by the shop for lunch. It is not fair, and I have found that the prices online or at Checkers often beat Spar's just because they are more honest and competitive.

3.) The stock keeping is atrocious. The managers do not know what they are doing, and they wait too long to restock products. Either that or the floor staff are not doing their job reporting what needs to be ordered again.

The most popular products go out of stock and then you never see them again meanwhile the worst are always well in stock for years. It is like they do not want to make money.
