Old stale deli goods - terrible

Stale goods sold in Deli. I visited the QuickSpar in Westbrook today again and wanted to purchase a donut. I asked the lady whether they were fresh and she assured me that they were made yesterday. I paid and got home to find the donut was so old it was trying to bite into a piece of old bread. It only cost me 7.99 but this is not the first incident at this specific outlet. The last time it happened I brought it to their attention and the deli lady just shrugged her shoulders so I wont bother this time . Rather tell me that a product is old and let me decide if I want to buy old produce.
