NOT SuperSpar - LOUSY SuperSpar

This review is based on my experience at SPAR RETAIL CROSSING. On Wednesday 06 April 2022, I purchased 2 x vetkoek and mince for my supper from the fresh food / deli counter. From about 1 a.m. on Thursday morning, I was violently ill. The only other food I had eaten that day was a yoghurt (BB 05 May 2022) and a cheese sandwich - so it could only have been the vetkoek that gave me food poisoning. I only ate 1 of them and needless to say, the other one went straight into the bin on Thursday morning. In addition to this event, I wanted to buy some fresh rolls - NOT the Freshline or Sasko or other pre-packed brands - just normal, soft, hot dog rolls. Imagine my horror when I saw the price was R 19.99 for 6 rolls. I noticed at the same time, the coney rolls, which are usually more expensive, were R 12.99 for 6. Is this a money-making racket of R 7 more on a packet on rolls which are probably the most purchased, because they are supposed to be the cheapest???? Furthermore, in the 12 years that I have been frequenting this store - I have yet to get a smile or a friendly greeting from any of the staff there - with the one exception of the Lady behind the fresh food counter - HAHAHA What a JOKE! Fresh food that gives you food poisoning!!!. I wish the whole world would know what a NOT- SuperSpar this branch is.
