No transparency

I was at one of your stores and there were about 8 different prices for eggs displayed. NO price tag of R14,99. I took the cheapest which was R12.99 but was charged, R14.99. I understand that the eggs that I took were super large, but there wasn't a price tag of R14,99. Mustn't there be transparency? The super large eggs were packed above the price of R12.99. Please explain. Thank you.
