NO STOCK AS ADVERTISED AND INCORRECT PRICES CHARGED!!

Let's talk SPAR (and a few friends in the industry) Last week I received an sms from SPAR regarding 12 items on special at all Super Spar and Kwik Spar shops from 29 to 31 January 2021. Now, you'd think that the Head Office will advise the shops of the specials and ensure that they have stock HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA REALLY??????? I went to Linden Kwik Spar on Friday 29th because I needed some of the specials. 1 SPAR BROWN SUGAR only to find NO STOCK. This is not the 1st time, it happens all the time. 1.5L Sparletta & Sprite at R9.99 "The Sprite wasn't marked properly so, overcharged R3. The Weet-Bix R 17.99 was billed as R 19.99 - TOTAL OVERCHARGED R5.00 doesn't sound like a lot right? Now multiply that by 500 customers per day......these shops are really out to ***** us!! PLEASE CHECK YOUR PRICES AT THE CHECKOUT COUNTER.

SPAR -please don't offer specials if you know your branches will only have 10 at the special price and then leave the shelf EMPTY!! I decided to try again on Sunday 31st January 2021 only to find STILL NO STOCK. And it just so happens that I drove past Robindale Spar in Randburg and the same thing..... where the Spar Sugar should have been according to the marking on the shelf, they packed extra Selati 2kg Sugar??????

GUYS .... PLEASE DON'T CON YOUR CUSTOMERS WITH SPECIALS THAT DON'T EXIST !! WE ARE SICK OF IT !!

OH and to add another problem, half the time just like at Pick & Pay and Checkers they don't fix the prices in the live system so you wait even longer for things to be fixed at the checkout counter. MY ADVICE TO EVERYONE IS: MEMORISE YOUR PRICES AND IF YOU CAN'T REMEMBER THEM ALL, WRITE IT ON THE ITEM YOU ARE PURCHASING AND CHECK WHEN YOU GET TO THE TILL POINT.

PS Reason I mentioned the other 2 shops as well..... I waited about 40 min at Pick & Pay Northcliff Square last year for 1 item to be fixed and at Checkers Northcliff Cormer where I picked up 5 incorrect prices and when it got to the 5th one I TOLD THEM TO CREDIT THE AMOUNT AND SHOVE IT!!
