No Response to Injury on Premises

Last Saturday I visited my local Tops. On checkout I lifted up the bag, which proceded to pop open, dropping the contents on my open toe (I was in slops). They happily replaced the broken unit, and helped me stop the bleeding/sit down etc (although no first aid kit on premises). I was told that they had complained about the poor quality of the packets as this had happened before but no action had been taken.

I was off work for 3 days, so had to see a doctor, as well as get anti-biotics for the infection. I am over R500 out of pocket because of these thin packets. I have tried emailing Head Office as well as the manager but no responses after almost two weeks.

I love both my Tops and my Spar, and I refuse to shop anywhere else because of the service I get. But this incident is certainly beginning to leave me wanting.
