NO PROTECTION FOR STAFF DURING LOCK DOWN

I went to the Spar at Sunridge this morning with all my protective gear IE mask and gloves. At the door the security stood with the hand sanitizer but no gloves or mask. When I got to the counter to pay the cashier and packer had no mask or glove. I asked them where is their gloves and masks as required by goverment during this crisis our country finds itself in. Their reply to me was Their manager said they are not allowed to wear masks and gloves and they mentioned they felt exposed and unsafe. Which I totally agree with. I find this totally unacceptable. As the South Africans we need to stand together to fight this crisis and protect the staff that are classified as essential workers. Spar Management I am disgusted in your attitude towards your staff and I will no longer purchase my monthly groceries from you. I will also notify all my friends who support you to stop. Management you should be ashamed.
