Never embarrass customers!

I usually LOVE Spar Langebaan but was terribly embarrassed on Sunday afternoon. The liquor department was still open and I had unexpected family, thus asked the lady inside the store if I can still take a bottle of wine. She said yes. All the bottle stores were closed (around 14:12), hence I asked. At the till Carol stormed at me and grabbed the wine out of my hands. I left very red-faced with my my childrens' teachers in the line behind me. Firstly - close off the area (like you always do) if you don't want people to take wine. We don't know your hours by heart. Secondly, let there be consensus as to whether you can still sell or not. Thirdly, to that horrid women named Carol - you embarrassed me completely. I don't think I'll ever go to Spar again. You could have called me over and said sorry mam, although the area is still open we cannot sell after such-and-such time. Instead I felt like a ********. Don't ever storm up to a customer and grab goods out of our hands. I have honestly never felt so humiliated. Carol is the worst appointment ever. I have been shopping at Spar since I moved to Langebaan. Carol has no manners and shouldn't work with customers.
