mould on pastries

Today 10 January 2016, my husband bought 2 chocolate eclairs from the bakery at navalsig spar. When we wanted to eat the pastries there was mould on them. The sticker on the box says that they are fresh with today's date. He called the store to lodge a complaint and the person on the phone told him that there is no manager on duty to assist with this problem. How can you let your stores sell \fresh"products that are basically ruined to the public. I understand that it is summer and very hot"
