Mother's Day Disaster

<p>Mother’s Day is a special occasion for most people and for my family we want to spoil our mom and have a nice family gathering. This Mother's Day was a disaster. On Mother' Day the 14th of May 2017 I purchased a Red Velvet Cake from the KWIK SPAR in Flanders Drivers Mount Edgecombe. After having lunch with families and friends we decided to have dessert, one of the desserts being the Red Velvet Cake. We have tried many cakes from various outlets however SPAR at Flanders normally outshines most outlets when it comes to this particular cake. When we opened the lid of the cake at dessert time there was an awful foul odour from the cake. The Cake was a actually rotten with an extremely foul odour. Was a real spoil to Mother Day.</p> <p>More alarming to this was the service I received from the store Manager at SPAR. I entered the store and asked if I could speak to the manager and the person I spoke to said he was the store Manager. I explained our disastrous experience and there was no show of empathy. He inspected the cake and agreed it was rotten. He asked me if I wanted another cake and I said no thanks. Then he said weather i wanted some cream doughnuts and I said please can I have a refund and provide me the owners details. I collected my refund and left.</p> <p>With the experience I had encounter and especially it being on Mother’s Day was extremely disappointing and disastrous. And the after sales service was shocking, especially from a Store Manager.</p>
