Mistakes and false advertising

When looking on the web for the monthly catalogs I found the one of Spar that is dated to end 31/12/2019 - some great specials. To my absolute irritation the shelves do not match the catalog, get to the front to query this the lady tells me that i should look at the bottom of the page as this is not a current catelog and thats that! She calls the manager (I assume) show her the same thing and all she can say is that they must have made a mistake and not changed the dates. I tell her that as a customer we Google for what we want and thats what came up, we as customers can't be looking for other mistakes and errors made by Spar. She in turn tells me to take this up with head office, I have pasted the link to the page i googled and screen shotted this as I know for sure this will be deleted and then the customer will be wrong!

This is against the customer protection act, I am sure i am not the only one that Google's my catelogs! Ridiculous that we are now expected to proof read all adverti*****ts from a 'trusted retailer' - I left my trolley as I was not about to buy from Spar and probably will never again!
