Menlo Park Spar

I work walking distance to the Spar in Menlo Park. It is very convenient to stop on the way to work and get something for lunch. I don't really complain but I have now had enough, and my colleagues have told me many times to stop buying at this Spar. This morning, I stopped at the spar as I do almost every day and purchased some mini pancakes with BBQ chicken filling (sell by date 9 January 25) and a fruit salad tub (sell by date 7 January 25). When I got to the office, I warmed the pancakes in the microwave, and it did not smell good. I asked a colleague, and she agreed, and it landed in the bin. I decided to enjoy the fruit salad only to find that some of the fruit was off. Then the biltong (sell by date 7 January 25) that I purchase on Friday and did not eat, was cover in mould. Today is the 6th of Jan 2025. Food is so expensive, and Menlo Park Spar is known for being the most expensive Spar. This is not the first time this has happened, and I am not tired of having to go back to return the vrot food.
