Mellerware kettle

Good day

Today(12 October 2020) Carla Bouwer from Grabouw Superspar spoke to me via Facebook. She said they can't not exchange the kettle because it was working in store and I must get an electrician to come check our plugs. I'm very disappointed. How can I keep something that is not working in the house.?
