Manager at Spar - shocking expierience
Good day

At 09H15 on the 23/10/2015 I went to Spar in Kraaifontein as I regularly do. Two days earlier I fractured my wrist and am on pain medication, they will confirm that I was bandaged. Prior to this I went to Cape Gate to visit my father in hospital and was completely fine only the effects of the pain medication has caused me slight disorientation.. I went to Tops to purchase my friend a bottle of Whisky. On my exit Francois removed my car keys and claimed that I was not in a condition to drive. I had to sit there until a friend had to leave work to collect me. Who the hell gives a spar employee the right to take my car keys away from me and how is he qualified to determine if a person can drive their own car or not. I do not anyway know of a person who drinks at that time of the morning. I start work at 10H00 and could only get there at 12H00 because \officer"Francois apparently has law enforcement qualifications. I have already told friends and colleagues and we all now intend to shop elsewhere in future. It was a nightmare of an experience and an embarrassment to the Spar group."""
According to eyewitness reports your driving was dangerous in the car park and was reported to the police. The police encouraged the store manager to remove your keys for your own safety as well as others. Your 2 friends thanked the store for not allowing you to drive in that state. We have your telephonic complaint on record and your swearing and slurring does not support your view that you were completely fine.
We do hope your Dad is recovering and your wrist is better. Please be assured that we strive to always have our customers best interests at heart.
