I went to above spar to purchase 10 cans of food for a homeless run we are doing in Westway office park. I decided to purchase myself a pie. While waiting at the counter for help, three gentlemen came and stood around also waiting for service. I must add that they were not busy at the time. There was one lady before me that was being served. A lot of staff were walking past all of us and one lady was seeing to the customers. When it was my turn to be served, the three gentleman spoke to her in what I take was her language, and she proceeded to help them before me. I saw a white gentleman dressed in spar uniform, and explained the situation to him, and even suggested that they try a number system in place. He just agreed and carried on talking to another gentleman. I went to the front counter and asked to speak to the manager. The lady pointed him out to me, when explaining the situation to him, and pointed out the other gentleman that I had spoken to, all he asked was if he could not go and help me. This after I had been standing there for 15mins and taken another twenty mins to first speak to the first gentleman, and waiting at the front counter for someone to speak to and find the manager. I told the manager that it is to late, and that I will not be back. On riding past the entrance to said spar, the manager was standing looking at me as I rode past, clearly he had not gone to the pie counter to find out what had transpired or to sort my problem out. My company make use of this Spar every day for Milk and newspapers. I will now be sending an e-mail to our finance and request that we use Checkers in the Pavilion. I will also be speaking to Knowles Spar manager, where I do my personal shopping.
