Lyndhurst Spar not customer oriented

I bought a Kenwood Blender in December 2023 through Spar incentive program, today as I was preparing my smoothie the blender started acting up on me I smelt something like a burning cable then it stopped working, upon checking I realized that I have misplaced the receipt okay I still have the packaging box which is still in good condition and at the back of my mind as I have their loyalty card I thought this could help with them tracking the purchase date since the promo was an incentive, every time when a customer make a purchase over R100 you would receive stickers to fill up your card and once the card is full you would select any item you like from the catalogue and pay the price difference, therefore I decided to take the blender back to Spar which is down the road from my house, thinking the card carries the purchase date since I didn't have the receipt and I even told the Supervisor that I am willing to pay the repairs fee since I have misplaced the receipt as long as they can accept it and book it in for repairs but my request fell into deaf ears they refused, what I am very much aware of is Spar issue out Rewards cards which is registered with the customers details, but shouldn't the same card keep a track record/history of all purchases made by customers? If recall I paid R749.00 difference for the blender which I am now supposed to take to Kenwood at my own expense.
