Loyalty Cards no longer valid.

My wife and I picked up a Spar Loyalty card in order to earn points which we would then later use at Xmas time to purchase goods for the less fortunate. We do this with our other loyalty card we have for another big super market chain.<br> <br> Spar ran a special during this time where you could gain enough points and win a kitchen knife, I chose to rather earn the points and not play for the knife. <br> <br> I went to Spar recently and wanted to swipe my card, only to be told it was no longer valid and I would not be given the points back that I had already earned. <br> <br> This is very disappointing and to give out a LOYALTY card and then to blatantly refuse to honour it is just not right.
