Lack of care by a branch manager
My complaint is about Paul, manager of Spar Eagle canyon. On the 22 December 2021, I sent my son to play the lotto on my behalf. Long story short, my winning ticket was swopped for a lesser payment by the Lotto ticket operator.
I contacted the manager within 15 minutes, who said he would review the incident on camera and revert to me the next day. I told him exactly what ticket to look for. I hold the Proof of a duplicate minor payout.
Paul did not get back to me, and when I phoned back, 2 days later, he said he found no evidence of my complaint. He then said that I should send an email on the matter, which I did. Again no response.
This is poor and pathetic behaviour from a branch manager. Spar can not have someone like this representing them, its shameful. Its all about principle of which he has none
Whether or not swopping actually took place , decency is getting back to the complainant. What if the Lotto operator is actually doing this and it goes unaddressed.
I was short paid only R25, but if this happens regularly, it amounts up. Its still about how it was treated by the manager
