Im writing this review on behalf of my son who went on the 1 August to purchase some items at the Super Spar in Kenilworth. He purchased 2 pies which he paid at a different counter and the other items had to be paid at a different counter. The items he had wasnt in a basket. According to him he paid for the pies and was walking towards other till point he was approached by a woman and told him to come with her to the office. She accused him of *****ing, he tried to explain but she refused to listen. He never left the store and now according to them he did. Each item that he had on him was charged 3 times. I feel if he stole why didnt they call the police? He was humilated in front of all the customers. He paid the pies with a R200 note and still had the change R159 in his hands. This is totally unacceptable, not everyone are looters and *******. My son was working nightshift and always buys from this Spar and to be treated like a ******** for something he didnt do is very wrong and on top of that to be charged 3 times for the items. I spoke to.pieter the manager who wasnt very helpful and i thereafter logged a complaint with their headoffice and i spoke to Thola who stated that she will investigate. I thereafter received a call from a very rude abrupt white lady who stated to me that he walked out but my son states that he didnt. No person has to be humilated and accused of theft. Why didnt they call the police? Why was he charged 3 times for the same item. This is ******ion.
