Ignorance by Spar Beetlestone, Malabar,Port Elizabeth

On the 28 January 2023, i fell at the Spar Beetlestone, Malabar, Port Elizabeth entrance. Through pain, I requested for the team that was working to record the incident. On the day they gave me an ice pack and assisted me with getting into the car. I got home elevated the leg and took pain killers. The next weeks to follow i continued elevating the leg and taking anti inflammatory tablets and pain killers. I eventually went to see the doctor/s and was referred to xray then orthopedic surgeon. I went back to report the matter at Spar, they checked their books and all was indeed recorded. The manager, Cassiem, advised me they woud seek further advice on how to deal with this matter nd get bck to me. It took about a month before they eventually told me that they will log a claim with the insurance. Throughout this time i was the only person sending emails, whatsapp and calling with no direction until i visited the store whereby Cassiem got to send via whatsapp details of the insurance person to communicate with. Upon inquiry i discovered that Spar was given forms to complete and had not done so in about 6weeks. I continued to make calls with the manager lying to me regarding the status of the claim. I later discovered that they had not sent all necessary documentation to the insurance. Today, more than 3 months later, upon enquiring, i was told that Spar Beetlestone needs to report the incident to the landlord and take it from there. Throughout this time there has been no communication from their side..i am the one calling. Meantime,my medical aid is depleted as a result of this and i have a 2year old that i don't know what i will do if she falls sick. Today i had to copay R3300 for an MRI scan and Spark is jut ignoring me.
