I felt so small

The treatment I recieved today was very bad , I am working at the same centre so I went to buy just 2things so after covid we usually don't follow the queue especially if we are buying something to eat, as a decent person I usually join the queue but today it was too long I had a headache so I went infront and ask the cashier to scan two items for me, and I got a shock of my life when she said she can't they are no longer allowed, so I was very disappointed, she would have let me pay and then inform me of the store new rule so I had to leave the store empty handed.
