I ate a rotten pie from Spar

This happend to me in the beginning of March 2020, I dont remember the exact date but I had to write this review because I still get upset when I think about it. I was lazy to cook and I was at the JHB CBD spar so decided ro get a pie it was a chicken curry pie, I took it home and finally when I was settled I took a bite into it the taste was so strange I could not even swollow the first bite I absolutely had to check what was going on with it when I looked inside it was rotten. To this day I still cant eat ready made foods and my stomach still churns at the thought.

I was highly disappointed and shocked that such a trusted store would keep in display and sell rotten foods for customers who spend their well earned money at the store. Since then i no longer eat pies or shop for ready made foods at Spar, the only positive thing about this story is since then I always buy frozen puff pasty and make my own pies at home. PS: always be careful when buying ready made foods and ask the tellers if its fresh because clearly the managers at Spar dont give a F*** about people health and well being.
