Horrible service from Bomkazi at Spar Northcrest.

Northcrest Spar in Mthatha has staff who seem to have had no training on how to interact with customers.

A lady by the name of Bomkazi is an example of the type of person who should not be facing customers. I greeted and she did not greet back. I made a purchase and requested to make a separate payment for MTN WhatsApp data. I handed her a R20 note which she said was torn. I told her that I had not noticed, I asked her to give me the receipt for the other item as I would be able to pay for the data.

She told me that I would not be allowed to leave the store unless I paid for the data. I tried letting her know that I was making separate payments because the data was for someone who had given me money to purchase for them. She said that was not her problem and that I was not allowed to leave without making payment for the data.

This has to be the worst service I have experienced at Spar. It is a shame that we get treated as less than, because of a purchase that the cashier deems not worthy of good service.

Very disappointed at such a big chain store that we have supported for years.
