I have been buying the Spar breakfast drinking yoghurts for a long time, together with my club runners. We noticed a significant watering down of the product and raised this with the call centre. Spar was persisent that they cannot do anything as we did not keep batch numbers. Called the head office in Durban, Janeen, the customer service manager insisted that they could do nothing without batch numbers. This is their house brand, but do they care. I will not buy from the Spar anymore, as PnP is just opposite. Spar is too big to hear complaints and do something about satisfying their customers. Be careful, if you require the support of their head office, they will simply turn you down. To Spar, its about making money 'quick', they dont really car about their consumers !
