Hollow victory for SUPERSPAR Newton Park and SPAR EC - Client service is the cornerstone of any reputable business

On the 14 October 2021 I wrote a report to Hello Peter of my shocking treatment at the hands of Newton Park Super Spar. And to my surprise I read an article in the Herald , dated 15 December 2021 with the heading " Prestigious Spar accolade for Super Spar Newton Park" What a hollow achievement, in light of my experience with the establishment. When reflecting on the call I received from the District Office of SPAR EC it is now clear that the whole exercise was an attempt to whitewash this whole episode to ensure this establishment remain squeaky clean. I quote from the article : "shoppers are treated like family" ....what a fallacy. my experience could not be further from the truth. I walked away from this whole saga, including the intervention from SPAR District Office , humiliated and profiled to the worst degree. No amount of accolades will smooth over, the ugly spectre of bad client service and client profiling Client service should be an honest and transparent exercise
