Grossly Out of Date / Expired Beer Product

About a month and a half ago I went to ToPs @ Spar Avonmore in Berea Durban to purchase a six pack of Castle Lager Draught . All seem well and didn't suspect anything, but when I opened one beer as the soccer game was to start, there was a change in the taste. It was not as usual. It was sour and sickening. When I looked inside , the beer was milky. As I observed further and looked for the expiry date, it was dated 31 March 2017. 3 months off. I had to discard the whole six pack. It was not a good evening for me.

Now 2 weeks ago I went to the same store, to buy the same thing. I went straight for the expiry date and the stock was expired even the glass format was expired . All dated 31st March 2017. The whole shelf with Castle Lager Draught regardless of format was expired. I asked for a manager which I was told was not instore and was promised to be given a call and that there stock will be replaced. That call never came. Till today. I went to the store last week and the stock was still outdated.

I am not sure of the intent to sell expired products to consumers. But it has to stop.

This is a health hazard and a bad on shelf execution by ToPs @Spar Avonmore. I suggest anyone who is visiting this store to be always vigilant of the expiry date. I only checked one product and cannot guarantee same is not happening in other products. Becareful.
