Grocery shop in store safely during Covid crisis

Before Covid lockdown, I shopped at Spar Bel Air several times weekly as I went to the gym there and Spar was so handy to pick up a few needed items. Since Covid I haven't been, simply because it isn't in my normal routine while the gym is closed. However, I needed something I knew this Spar normally has in stock. I was there early on a Saturday morning (around 9am) and was very impressed with the cleanliness of the store, neatness of shelves, sparkling clean trollies and baskets, cleanliness of the till areas with plastic shields.....and I could go on. Suffice it to say, this Spar does the whole clean routine better than any other grocery store I have been in so far. It was 9am and the shelve packing (including produce section) was pretty much completed. I didn't have to dodge packers and myriads of packing cases as I have had to do in Spar's main competitors. Very impressive. Friends in my retirement village who normally do not go out to shops but would like to feel safe to do so, I have recommended Bel Air Spar. Besides cleanliness, I like the quality and pricing of the Spar brand products, the bakery, hot food section, baking supplies, paper products, health foods, and dairy, etc. But particularly, if you are looking for a particularly safe place to shop while the deadly Covid 19 threatens us, I would highly recommend Spar Bel Air.
