Good evening I bought a black forest cake at spar in Bel-air mall and it cost me R109. The cake best before date was the 21 July 2021 and I bought it at the same date. I did not check it at the store because I trusted the brand. The sad part of it is that my wife realized the best before date after serving my 12 years old and my 15 years old boys. I hope and pray that they don't get sick or have any negative effect from this. I'm disappointed on Spar as brand having to have the pandemic in the country and where hygiene and food safety is everything. Why keep expired products on shelf and put customers life's at risk.
