GLENORE KWIKSPAR

On 30 November 2022, I was in Glenore Kwikspar waiting in the queue to pay. The till lady rang up my goods, which came to R539.34. I presented with my bank debit card and after trying to get through on my card four times, all of which were declined, I was really upset because there was more than enough money in our cheque account. I ended up speaking to two Managers and asked if I could use their internet so that I could TT the amount straight through to their bank. Well....our bank would not allow me to do this transaction.

I was close to tears of pure frustration and the Managers decided between themselves to let me take my groceries and come in and pay "when I could". Bear in mind that these two Gentlemen did not know me from Adam. I seriously could not believe their trust and kindness.

I dropped my groceries at home and my husband and I went straight to the bank, where it was discovered that SARS, totally incorrectly, had told our bank to FREEZE our account. Our bank sorted it out immediately and we drew the cash and went straight to Glenore Kwikspar to pay and thank them profusely.

I highly recommend this above Spar. I have always found them amazing and this just proves it. In fact their entire staff always makes you feel welcome and are so helpful.
