Forced To Pay for Damaged Goods
I was at the till paying for items at the liquor department/Tops. The Isle's are so narrow and all the bottled are packed on the edge of the shelves, I think people knock things of the shelf's all the time. While paying for items one of Spar's clients pushed passed me to get to the next till instead of passing behind me, and was standing in the middle of the Isle forcing me into a little space that I struggled to get back to the till I was paying at and accidently knocked a bottle of expensive liquor of the shelf. I was by no means in the fault since it was caused by one of SPARS customers and not negligence on my part. All the employees stated that they did not see what happened and forced me to pay for the damage. It is sad that at a branch like this there is no one who will listen or even take the time to look at video footage and when asked to speak to a manager I spoke to a person with a nametag that said \Customer Service"and claimed he was the manager but I am not convinced. The other employee that forced me to pay's name was Sello. """
