Food poisoning

On the 15th June 2024 I bought 2 full grilled chickens from their Deli because I was taking my family out for a picnic, my wife made chicken rolls for whoever was hungry.When I tasted a piece of the chicken, it wasn't tasting good and it felt slimmey so I refused to eat it. Later around 5pm we returned home and soon after everyone that ate the chicken got terribly ill,they were experiencing stomach cramps and started puking.My wife,daughter and grandson suffered terribly.I immediately took the 2 chickens back to the store. 1 chicken was partially eaten and the other chicken wasn't touched.I was advised to see a doctor and get a doctor's report which we did. Doctor said it's most likely food poisoning. We were informed that the matter will be investigated and they will get back to us. It's now 3 weeks later and we still haven't received feedback. I am highly disappointed in their customer service.
