Food poisoning

I bought chicken thighs from Spar in Ferndale village 2 days ago and cooked them last night. A couple of hours later I had food poisoning which has been running through me again today. I had also bought chicken wings which my roomate cooked &says they taste off. I am a more-than-regular customer at this spar as I live down the road. Not quite sure what/how this happened.
