False Spar specials

Spar HQ sends out sms messages to reward-card-holders of specials but when you go to your particular Spar, there are no such specials. Eg. Magaliesburg Spar is said to have special on Aerial Handwashing powder from 14-17 April. On 14 April I went to my Magaliesburg Spar and they knew nothing of such a special. I spoke to the floor manager and he told me that the SMS is generated by Spar HQ and they also know nothing about this special. I believe this is deception and ********** to entice customers to the Spar and then the advertised specials are nowhere to be found.
