False Adverti*****t and Poor customer service

On the 24th of November I bought 30 Extra Large eggs at Spar because they were on promotion for R 49.99. I only realised later that I was charged R 59.99. Then, I called the store to inform the manager about dissimilar price. Surprisingly, he was aware that the product is scanning the incorrect price at the tills. As a result, he suggested that I can come anytime they will correct the error. In addition, he advised that I should write his name on the slip in case he will not be around when I get to the store. Indeed, the following day when I arrived the manager was not there, but I was helped by one of the junior staff members. Unfortunately, this person was given instruction by someone who oversees promotions, that they will not be able to correct the error, because they had a different promotion where customers buy 2 large eggs for R 80. However, this was not the same promotion, that is why I have decided to return the eggs also requested that the manager should give me a call, yet he did not call. I find this price variation very deceiving to customers and the manner I was delt with was unprofessional.
