False Advertising and Useless Manager !!!!

So Spar is now also getting on the false advertising bandwagon.......

We went to Kwikspar in Bergvliet, Cape Town on Sunday to get a gammon before the special was finished. The special was advertised as boneless gammon for R69.99 and bone-in for R59.99.

There was no boneless gammon left but we were happy to take bone-in....except the bone-in was priced at R69.99....which was wrong. So we queried it and were told by the manager that he could not do anything, we must speak to the butchery manager when he came in on Monday.....after the special was finished......and naturally we would then not get the special price......

So as the customer we are expected to waste our time and money to sort this out !!! Why ???? What happened to customer service and genuine advertising ? The manager confirmed that the gammon was marked incorrectly so why could he not just correct the price as per the weight and ensure a happy customer ?

I do not go to Spar very often.....and this experience just shows why.....and needless to say I will not be going to any Spar ever again !!!!!
