False Advertising

<p>On Friday 03 March 2017 i arrived at the Mellville Spar to shop as they had advertised specials on the Rama 500g and their Spar long life fullcream milk. Upon arriving an the shelfs where these were suppossed to be stocked i found none available. I then asked a shop assisstant as to why is there no stock available and response i received was they always do this. I then asked to see the manager and explained my dissatisfaction with the false adverstising and was told not to worry i should come back the next day Saturday 04 March 2017 at 10h00 and the stock will be available. I then went through to the Spar the next morning at 10h00 only to find there was still nothing. The problem i have with this store is that this is not the first time we experienced this, to me i am beginning to think that this is a strategy of how to get consumers to purchase at this store. I did inform the manger that i will be placing this on the hello peter website of which he didn't seem phased at all. We the cosumers are tired of being hoaxed in false advertising to shop at stores who are using this as strategy to increase profits. My take on this is that a good manager would have said mam we do have stock arriving please give your name and number and i will call you as soon as it arrives instaed of me having to through two days in sucession for absolutely nothing.
