**** Whiskey

I have never been so disappointed, Spar tops is a reputable seller of alcohol. but after this I am very doubtful that they have real alcohol on their shelves. I bought a bottle of Tullamore Dew on the 26th Dec from the Tops Spar @ Cnr Commisioner and Kruger in Boksburg and the packaging, taste and the look of that whiskey was not the Tullamore Dew I drink. The date on the bottle was different from the two bottles we had bought from a different Spar tops. I went there as a customer and I was told they do not have any other bottle with the same date so it wasn't their stock. I went to the shelf and picked up another bottle that had the same dates as the **** one I had bought. then the story changed to we need to look at a lot of other things not just the date. I then requested that since they scan the barcode when one buys from them can they not check that? one manager said the person that can do that is not available and the other manager said that is not possible to get. That already made me realise that they are not speaking the same language and one of them just **** to our face. they were not willing to help and dismissive. I then requested them to contact the distributor because if they say their stock is legit then the problem doesn't lay with them. the manager by the name of Duke said he would give me a call at 09:00am with feedback and I have not heard anything from him. we left the bottle at the shop and they might remove the rest from the shelf to proof they never had the **** bottle on their shelf.

I called Edward Snell and I spoke to Mogale at the customer service and he informed me that they were suppose to replace the bottle which they didn't. I am not looking for a new Bottle from them if they all ****. but Spar Tops I am very disappointed
