Expired goods on shelf for almost a month at Spar

<p>Purchased a spar brand juice "burst" on the 5th August. Turns out it had expired on the 3rd of July. </p> <p>Only found out after my child got sick.</p> <p>Expressed my complaint to store manager Kevin Ramsamy who did not even display any empathy.No apology ,nothing. Asked to leave behind my tillslip and the goods, what proof do I have then? I refused took the goods back home. I was called the next day and offered double my money by the department manager, again not even an apology? Poor service, staff not trained adequately to deal with complaints. Take note I actually bought 8 bottles of juice 1 of which shows expired 3rd July and the others have NO EXPIRY DATE. </p> <p> </p> <p>BEWARE as food poisoning poses a serious health hazard and in some cases can be lethal to infants.</p>
