Expired goods

Sunday 16 October 2022, I bought 2 Cadbury Crunchies barcoded *** at Laarger Centre Spar in Pietermaritzburg. As I was about to indulge in my chocolate, I find it discoloured to what it should be. As I look further and checking the expiry dates, one expired on the 9th of July 2022 and the second one on the 12th of September. I called the store requesting the manager and I was told that he/she is busy. Called the second time around and he dropped the call. And this is not the first encounter upon purchasing the Spar Extra Shelf life Full Cream Milk on the 8th of October 2022, the milk was expiring the following day, yet it was still in the fridge selling out, according to the consumer protection services I have a right to safe good quality food!
