Expired Food sold to customers!!!!!

Today during my lunch time I went to the Richards Bay Spar,in Town Square for a creamy samp , when I came back to the office to have my lunch boom the samp was spoilt I then phoned the store and spoke to Clyed, I told him the whole story about the samp then he told me that maybe the samp is from yesterday so he is going to investigate. I asked him why are you selling us leftovers from yesterday then he told me that all the shops do that, I was so shocked by his response he went on mentioning that maybe its because of the ingredients that are put in that samp that's why it went off. I was disgusted by his response and found it inappropriate. He did not even say sorry about the situation only said he will be investigating the matter. Something needs to be done as this is not the first time that my family and friends have experienced expired food items form the Town Square SPAR supermarket.
