EXPIRED FOOD

I am writing this because I have reached the end of my patience with the KwikSpar in Albemarle, Germiston. Cnr Onyx and Hatfield Roads, Tasso Centre. I've the past few years I have numerous experiences with this Spar and their habit of keeping expired goods on the shelf. On atleast 3 occasions I purchased milk so badly expired... it had begun to curdle. Fruit that fungus growing on them. Each time I had the manager apologise, refund my money, and a promise to never let it haplen again.

Last Thursday 22 Feb, while walking out of the store I bit into a Futurelife High Energy bar, I had just purchased. Immediately it became obvious that there was something not right with the bar. I searched for the expiry date to find that it had expired on 04/11/2016.

2016!!!!!

This time I'm not handing over evidence to the Manager. I need to expose this to whichever authority needs to step in. And im also considering which avenue to pursue legally.

Something needs to be done about this SPAR. My family and I avoid using this branch which is the most convenient in terms of location. We would rather go out of our area...but sometimes it becomes impossible when certain basic necessities are warranted.
