Enough is Enough

I went to Knowles Spar last week Thursday to get fish that was on special. It was R49.99. The special started on Wednesday and runs until the 21st. Firstly there was no fish as they had sold out, how can you sell out in a day???? Obviously not enough fish was ordered. I tried to find someone to help me and there was not one staff member around to assist. I eventually found a packer. Then I eventually found a supervisor, we the supervisor and I eventually found a manager. This particular manager continously made excuses and then had the audacity to say to me and I quote: " No excuse is good enough for you!!!" to which I rep****: " NO, as I am the customer!!!!" I was not even offered a "rainy day" check by KnowlesThen I went and bought a salami stick which was marked as R14:99 and after I checked my till slip, I discovered that I had been charged R36:99!!! I did manage to get a refund. I had also been about two months ago to Spar Main at Sandy Centre and I had emailed them about some issues and to this day, I am still awaiting a reply!!! Anyway, on Friday I phoned the heads office in Pinetown and spoke to a lady by the name of Glenda. Who promised me that she would get customer care to investigate and come back to me by the latest Tuesday. They would email me and possibly phone me. I did explain to them that it was difficult for me to answer my phone as I am on a switchboard, so please to email me or leave a message on the phone. Well, today is Wednesday and I have not heard a thing from them!!! I have now tried to get in touch with Glenda three times this morning. The first time I phoned, I got put through, but no answer from her office and the second and the third times I have phoned not even their receptionist is picking up the phone nor anyone in the reception area. I myself am a receptionist on a switchboard and I know how important it is to answer the calls. I do understand that at times you miss a call, this is inevitable, but for the phone to continously ring for up to ten minutes is not on!!!! This is not a good reflection Spar. I am so tired now of having problems with shops such as Spar. Enough is Enough!!!!
